For the second week in a row, the sun and heat are here! We don’t know about you, but we love it! With the hot sun, both feet in the sand and festive music, there is everything you need to feel like you are on vacation, and this, just a few steps from home!
Here are our top 5 tips for a hot day at Super Aqua Club!
It is often said, but perhaps not enough; drinking water is the key! Very often, we forget to drink water because we spend our whole day in it! Don’t wait until you are thirsty to drink water because in this situation, your body is already dehydrated! Avoid headaches and the risk of heat stroke by hydrating frequently!
The sun and its rays are powerful! To protect yourself from the sun’s harmful effects, you must apply sunscreen frequently during the day! Why is a single application not useful? Because with water, sweat, sand and towel rubbing, the beneficial effects of the cream will be greatly affected. To maximize protection, it is essential to choose a cream that is water resistant and that allows you to be exposed to the sun for a long time (high SPF).
By early afternoon, the sun’s UV rays are at their peak. More precisely, they are very strong and present higher dangers for a swimmer! In order to avoid sunburn or heat exhaustion, we recommend taking breaks from the sun by taking strength under a shaded area. Take advantage of these moments to cool off and reapply sunscreen!
Another good way to stay hydrated on hot days is to eat well! If it’s very hot, avoid eating foods that are hard to digest and make your body work unnecessarily! We advise you to eat fresh foods rich in water, such as cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, etc! These are fresh and our body will take less time to assimilate them, leaving it with energy to maintain a good body temperature!
Unlike water, alcohol is dehydrating and that’s not what you want to do on a hot day! If you want to have a drink in the hot sun, make sure you alternate the equivalent amount of water!
